The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation hosted a meeting with a delegation from Egypt.

It was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov, representatives of Helwan University, the Head of the Jewelry Division of Egypt Ehab Wassef, the leadership of Kirmena Jewellery.

Taking into account the need for qualified personnel for the development of the jewelry industry, the parties discussed the possibility of mastering a new jewelry design based on the requirements of modernity, training professional specialists in the production process.

Mr. Abdurakhmonov noted the relevance of opening a faculty for training specialists in the jewelry industry in one of the country’s higher education institutions.
