The Eurasian Research Institute organized an event dedicated to the presentation of Uzbekistan’s economic reforms, in Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by representatives of leading think tanks, higher education institutions, research institutes of Kazakhstan. The Executive Director of the Development Strategy Center Eldar Tulyakov informed about the economic reforms carried out in Uzbekistan within the framework of the Development Strategy, and their first results.

The participants noted that the reforms have a positive impact on the development of not only Uzbekistan, but the entire region, the fundamental factor in them is human interests. Further liberalization of the leading industries and the economy, completion of their transformation processes will determine the guarantees of social protection of the energy and gas market, while liberalizing their prices, attracting more and more private investment. Social consumer norms will be introduced. Green economy technologies will be introduced in all areas.

At the event, the Development Strategy for 2022-2026, the country’s economic opportunities, cooperation with the world community and development trends, issues of further enhancing cooperation between the leading research centers of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, launching joint mutually beneficial scientific and practical projects on relevant issues were discussed.
