The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted a meeting between the head of the Department for Cooperation with European Countries and European Union Institutions, Aybek Shakhavdinov, and the Ambassador of Italy, Agostino Pinna.

The parties discussed holding joint events for further developing relations between Uzbekistan and Italy.

The current state, prospects for cooperation in the bilateral political, trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, and issues of expanding the legal framework through new relevant and practical documents were considered.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to conduct an ongoing dialogue to develop cooperation in various areas further.
