A delegation led by the Director of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Grigory Trubnikov, has arrived in Uzbekistan.

This organization was established on the basis of the interstate treaty on Nuclear Research of March 26, 1956. It is an international scientific center registered with the UN Secretariat in accordance with international standards. Uzbekistan has been a full member since 1992.

The Academy of Sciences hosted the opening of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research Days in Uzbekistan. The President of the Academy of Sciences, the Director General of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, and the Vice President of the Academy of Sciences addressed the event.

It is planned to hold exhibitions of the Institute, negotiate with government members, and sign scientific-technical agreements between the Academy of Sciences and the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research.
