The labour minister of the Republic of Qoraqalpoghiston, U.Saburov; the hokim (governor) of Ellikqala District, N.Khudoyberganov; and others have said that ensuring people’s, especially young people’s employment, bringing them up to be physically healthy and morally mature, creating conditions for them to realize their potential and widely display their talent and to learn professions are priority areas of reforms being implemented in the country.

In the job fair, nearly 50 graduates of vocational colleges were provided with jobs according to their speciality.

“This year I will graduate from the Ellikqala medical college. In the job fair I was given a job placement certificate according to the profession that I am learning. I am glad that I will be making a contribution in the district medical association in future to the honourable work of strengthening people’s health,” says Nazokat Nuriddinova.

During the job fair, special attention was paid to supporting young people desiring to engage in entrepreneurship. Certificates were given to 15 college graduates for them to obtain preferential credits from banks.

This year, nearly 3 thousand 500 new jobs are to be created by developing industrial enterprises and small business and private entrepreneurship entities in accordance with an employment programme adopted in Ellikqala District.

Such a job fair has also been held in the town of Nukus.
