The first stage of the Global Chess League has ended in the UAE.

Six teams, consisting of the strongest chess players in the world, participated in 10 round-robin competitions. Uzbekistan’s Nodirbek Abdusattorov fought for the victory as part of the Balan Alaskan Knights team, and Javokhir Sindarov as part of the UpGrad Mumba Masters team.

Triveni Continental Kings and UpGrad Mumba Masters met in the final. Triveni Continental Kings won. The second place was taken by representatives of the UpGrad Mumba Masters team, which included Javokhir Sindarov.
