Mumbai hosted the semi-finals and finals of the Global Chess League 2025, which featured 6 teams.

In the final match, the current Triveni Continental Kings champion faced the Alpine SG Pipers and lost 4:2, 4.5-1.5. At the same time, Javohir Sindarov’s Ganges Grandmasters team and PBG Alaskan Knights competed for third place. Unfortunately, Sindarov’s team lost to the opposing team and finished fourth.

Following ten days of intense matches in Mumbai, the list of the 10 strongest chess players of the tournament was announced.
