The winners of the Freestyle Chess Grand Slam 2025, with a $750,000 prize fund, have been determined. The event takes place in the Republic of South Africa.

In the final match of the tournament, Levon Aronian, who defended the honor of the United States, defeated Magnus Carlsen with a score of 1.5:0.5 and received a prize of $200 thousand.  Magnus Carlsen, who finished 2nd, received $140,000.

Uzbekistan’s Javohir Sindarov faced Vincent Keymer of Germany for 3rd place but lost.

As a result, V. Keymer, who took third place, received $100 thousand, and J.  Sindarov – $60 thousand.
