An exhibition titled “The 40th Anniversary of Higashikawa as the Town of Photography: The Higashikawa Photo Exhibition” opened at the Ikuo Hirayama International Caravanserai of Culture under the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan.

The event was organized by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan and the Japan Institute of Photography and Film. The exhibition features photographs showcasing the culture, heritage, and tourism potential of Higashikawa, Japan.

A total of 50 works reflecting the modern image of Higashikawa are on display.

The exhibition will run until October 19 of this year.
