The Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports hosts international training camps with the participation of representatives of the Japanese national kurash team.

Deputy Minister of Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shakhrillo Makhmudov, Vice Rector of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports Shukurjon Gaziyev, General Secretary of the International Kurash Association Reza Nassiri, and others addressed the opening of the training camps organized by the International Kurash Institute in cooperation with the Japan Kurash Federation and several other agencies, who noted the high dynamics of relations between Uzbekistan and Japan in all areas.

Special attention was paid to strengthening cooperation in such sports as kurash and judo. It was noted that these ancient martial arts are based not only on physical fitness, but also on such values as respect, discipline, morality, and ethics. Holding international gatherings helps strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between people.

Theoretical and practical training with the participation of Uzbekistan and Japan athletes will run until August 14.
