Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mukhsinkhoja Abdurakhmonov held talks with the Chairman of the Japanese company Noritsuisu Co. Ltd. Michio Aoki.

The parties discussed the progress of the investment project for the production of high-quality furniture for educational, medical and office purposes in the city of Tashkent.

Chairman of Noritsuisu Co. Ltd. informed that currently the formation of the list of production equipment for $1.6 million has been completed, which will be shipped in 2022, while work continues with domestic producers of raw materials.

The total cost of the investment project is $3 million. More than 5 thousand pieces of furniture will be produced annually with the subsequent expansion of production capacities. Commissioning and production are scheduled for 2023.

Michio Aoki plans to visit Uzbekistan in December to resolve organizational and technical issues related to the launch of production.
