Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan Gayrat Fazilov has met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Terao Litech Co. Ltd. Shinobu Terao to discuss the prospects for establishing investment cooperation.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan Gayrat Fazilov has met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Terao Litech Co. Ltd. Shinobu Terao to discuss the prospects for establishing investment cooperation.

The Japanese side was provided with information on large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, as well as the trade-economic, investment potential of the country, the conditions created for doing business.

Shinobu Terao expressed interest in developing cooperation and proposed to implement a joint project for construction of mobile treatment facilities for processing domestic and industrial wastewater in Uzbekistan.

The parties agreed to consider the possibility of implementing a demonstration project in Surkhandarya region. The Japanese side will start developing the concept of the project. The Uzbek side, in turn, will provide the necessary data for this.
