Federal Minister Klöckner has defined the following key questions for the debate:

3. How can food systems become more climate-resilient?

4. How can food systems contribute to climate change mitigation better than before?

Jamshid Khodjayev, who was elected Chair of the FAO Regional Conference for Europe and Central Asia in November 2020, addressed the GFFA Forum on January 19, 2021. He spoke about the role of innovations in strengthening the resilience of food systems and preventing future pandemics.

The Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan noted the actions of the government of the country, which allocated significant resources to support the phased renewal of the agricultural research systems, expand the potential of education and training in this area, as well as to create an effective network of advisory services in agriculture, which in the future will allow farmers and agricultural enterprises successfully develop their business.
