The participant of the Tokyo-2022 Olympic Games, Jalgasbay Berdimuratov, won the representative of Mongolia in the quarterfinals with a score of 11:0 at the Asian Wrestling Championships in Ulaanbaatar.

In the semi-finals, J. Berdimuratov defeated an athlete from India with a score of 8:0 and advanced to the final. Unfortunately, Nasser Alizade from Iran turned out to be stronger in the fight for the gold medal.

So far, Uzbekistan athletes have won one bronze and one silver medal.
