Serbia hosts Wrestling World Championships.

Greco-Roman wrestler Jalgasbay Berdimuratov, who competed in the 82 kg weight category, won a silver medal.

According to the National Olympic Committee, in the final, Uzbekistan’s athlete competed against Burhan Akbudak from Türkiye. The fight ended with a score of 7:6 in favor of Burkhan Akbudak.
