A member of the Uzbekistan Greco-Roman wrestling team, Jalgasbay Berdimuratov, won a gold medal at the Asian Games.

Uzbekistan’s athlete, competing in the weight category up to 87 kilograms, defeated the Iranian athlete Naser Alizadeh in the final and won the gold medal.

Unfortunately, Uzbekistan’s other wrestlers, Mahmud Bakhshilloyev and Islomjon Bakhromov, lost in the fight for the bronze medal.
