The 26th Asian Taekwondo WT Championship among adults continues in Da Nang.

Uzbekistan national team members won the first bronze medal on the first day. Jakhongir Khudoyberdiyev, who competed in the weight category up to 54 kilograms, defeated Rika Takayama from Japan in the 1/8 finals. In the quarterfinals, he beat the host country’s representative, Nguyễn Hồng Trọng, and won the bronze medal.
