Tashkent City Hokimiyat hosted a meeting with a delegation of Turkey’s OYAK led by CEO Süleyman Savaş Erdem.

Hokim of the city of Tashkent sincerely welcomed the guests and noted with satisfaction the development of comprehensive cooperation with Turkey. The Mayor of the city spoke about the reforms carried out in the country under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and measures aimed at accelerating economic development and supporting entrepreneurship.

Mr. Süleyman Savaş Erdem, thanking for the warm welcome, demonstrated his awareness of the large-scale reforms carried out in Uzbekistan by the Head of the state, and noted that the goal of cooperation is to promote the development of the economy of the two states.

The Turkish guest also spoke about the OYAK company, which has been operating for over 60 years and has earned an excellent reputation in the world. OYAK plans to create production facilities in Tashkent and is interested in cooperation in such areas as logistics, finance, chemical industry, pulp and cement production, agriculture and animal husbandry. OYAK CEO expressed his hope that the contacts established at the meeting would yield positive results.
