Uzbekistan Grandmaster Jahongir Vakhidov became the winner of the Colin Crouch Celebration Chess Congress which took place in the Harrow Chess Club, in Harrow, London, England.The tournament was a nine round Swiss with over forty strong chess players. Our chess player, Jahongir Vakhidov defeated Patryk Stanisz from Poland, Marcus Osborne, James Jackson and Peter Batchelor from England, Timur Gareev from USA, Hungarian Tamas Fodor, and played tied with Australian Justin Tan, Ferenc Berkes from Hungary and Daniel Gormally from England.
Grandmaster Jahongir Vakhidov, by playing without losses all nine rounds, with 7.5 points won the first place.
