An Uzbek chapter has appeared in the famous Homo Faber Guide: 11 masters representing Uzbekistan's traditional arts and crafts are among the world's outstanding artisans.

Davlat Toshev is a master of miniature painting and a restorer of old books. Today, he restores ancient manuscripts and creates new images, sometimes using silk paper dating back over 200 years. He is inspired by the rich history of Bukhara, its cultural heritage, and the profound spirituality of the people.

The master dedicates much time and effort to teaching children, believing every child has talent and potential.

He converted a run-down 19th-century building in Bukhara into a free school where everyone could attend to learn ancient art.

It should be noted that the inclusion of Uzbek masters in the prestigious Homo Faber Guide was promoted by the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. This will allow getting acquainted with the work of Uzbek masters at the world level.
