The opening ceremony of the IV International Ulak-Kupkari Tournament took place at the Namangan Regional Riders’ School of the National Guard.

The tournament was organized within the framework of the Presidential resolution of August 5, 2021, titled “On measures for breeding and popularizing Karabair horses and further developing equestrian sports in Surkhandarya region”.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Hokim of the region G. Murodkhujayev, representatives of the National Guard, and other officials.

Participants in the tournament include the teams “Uzbekistan-1” and “Uzbekistan-2”, as well as teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.

Following the first day’s qualifying matches, the teams “Uzbekistan-1” and “Uzbekistan-2” will compete for victory in the final, while riders from Kazakhstan and Tajikistan will contest for third place.
