Turkiston Palace of Arts hosted a concert dedicated to the works of the legendary Frank Sinatra. The songs of this remarkable artist were performed by the jazz orchestra of the State Philharmonic of Uzbekistan under the direction of the People’s Artist of Uzbekistan Mansur Tashmatov.

Frank Sinatra is one of the most famous singers of the 20th century, on whose immortal songs several generations grew up.

Francis Albert Sinatra was born on 12 December 1915. He was a unique American singer, actor, film director, producer, showman, conductor and political activist. He won Oscar, and won Grammy eleven times.

He was famous for his high mastery of song performance, a virtuoso technique of intonational phrasing, clear articulation of each syllable and velvety timbre of his voice. Over 60 years of his creative career, Sinatra performed in the studio and at concerts more than two thousand songs by various authors, and toured in more than 40 countries. Records with his songs have been sold in the amount of more than 150 million copies. His performances were distinguished by a romantic style of performance. He became a model of musical taste.

This evening, jazz fans received aesthetic pleasure from a diverse palette of jazz performed by bright domestic musicians.
