The famous Italian geologist Marco Segone visited Nurata district, Qizilqum desert and Aydarkul Reservoir.

According to the Head of the Information Service of Navoi Regional Main Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Amir Rakhmonov, the village Dara, located in Chuya mahalla citizens’ assembly, is increasingly attracting tourists.

“I have visited many countries, but Nurata is distinguished not only by its picturesque nature and cultural values, but also by sincere and always smiling people”, says Marco Segone. – It makes me want to come back here again.

The Italian tourist-geologist continues his journey across Uzbekistan.
