Tashkent hosted a forum on “Digital Textile: IT solutions for the development of the textile industry”.

The First Deputy Chairman of Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association Mirmukhsin Sultonov made a presentation. He spoke about a new digital strategy for the development of the textile industry.

“The main directions of the strategy are defined as guaranteeing transparency, accelerating globalization, increasing diversification, developing the processing of raw materials and waste”, he said. – In the implementation of the tasks set, it is especially important to invest in advanced digital technologies, introduce artificial intelligence systems, modernize IT systems, create new electronic platforms, reduce carbon emissions in industry and stimulate sustainable development. At the same time, the Association announces the transformation of its activities by switching to the provision of consulting services through the “Single Window” system. The association also fully supports and promotes projects to change production formats, develop cost-effective models, create products taking into account the interests of digital factories and users, and use IT technologies.

Presentations of new projects 1fintex.uz, uzbtextile.uz and Textile Makon presented by the Association took place. These projects will serve to ensure the digital transformation of the sphere, the introduction of electronic technologies into it.

Chairman of the Board of the Lending Star company Sulton Marenov spoke about the advantages of the 1fintex.uz project developed by him.

“The 1fintex.uz project is a financial platform through which you can sell receivables at the expense of small businesses”, he said. – On this platform, exporting enterprises can invoice sales online, make sales at a discount, receive funds within 3-5 days, and pre-calculate receipts. In developed countries, financing based on such mechanisms is successfully replacing traditional bank loans. Such mechanisms allow enterprises to receive working capital without collateral and plan cash receipts.

The Uzbtextile.com project also plays an important role in the development of the textile industry. This project serves as a trading platform for B2B meetings. The project simplifies the dialogue of buyers from all over the world with suppliers of Uzbekistan textile industry, to implement the export plans of the Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association.
