Riyadh hosted the opening of the IT Park Uzbekistan Representative Office.

This has become an important moment in the cooperation between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.

“Bilateral relations between the innovative ecosystems of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia are developing rapidly”, says the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov. “This reflects the interest of our partners in our country’s rapidly developing technology sector. Such initiatives will strengthen economic cooperation, create jobs, and opportunities for professional growth and development of specialists”.

The event presented the main programs to support the IT sector and the business environment of Uzbekistan, including the developing ecosystem of startups and the conditions created for their development.

The new office will help strengthen cooperation and the exchange of experiences.
