The Urgench branch of the IT Park of software products and information technologies has been opened as part of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Korea.

The event was attended by members of the delegation of the Republic of Korea led by the Vice Minister of the Interior and Safety of the Republic of Korea Ko Kyu-chang, the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, the Hokim of Khorezm region Farhad Ermanov, heads of organizations and representatives of the general public.

The IT Park Urgench has all conditions for local IT companies, equipped with high-speed Internet access and modern computer equipment, a co-working center has been created. The branch employs 9 residents and implements about 40 start-up projects.

The IT Park has 13 digital training centers, 13 IT schools, and one basic software school.
