The recent launch of constitutional reforms in Uzbekistan has become an important event in people’s life. Everyone is trying to take part in this process.
The Central Office of the Political Council of the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” hosted an online conference on “The role of youth in constitutional reforms” dedicated to this important political process.
The event was organized to implement the broad tasks set out in the New Uzbekistan Development Strategy, increase the activity of youth in political reforms in the country, study the proposals of young people on introducing amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Activists of the party, deputies, members of the Council of the Youth Wing of the party noted that further improvement of the Constitution by introducing amendments and additions to the Basic Law will become an important factor in making Uzbekistan one of the developed democracies in the world.
The youth of the party noted the need for including a Youth Chapter in the Constitution, the priorities of state youth policy and the introduction of basic, important norms in this area, developing preschool education at the expense of the state, admission to general secondary schools not at the age of 7, but depending on knowledge, the use of the word “lynching” and severe punishment for lynching in Article 24 of the Constitution “The right to life is an inalienable right of every human being. Infringement against it shall be regarded as the gravest crime”.
Views of party activists and youth were heard at the event. Several proposals related to the development of the state and society were received.
