An IT Incubation Center has been established in Nukus branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT).

The opening ceremony of the IT Incubator was attended by the Minister for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov.

The Minister became familiar with the activities of the branch and the possibilities of the IT Incubator.

TUIT Nukus Branch was established on May 30, 2002. To date, it has two faculties. There are 1870 students and undergraduates. They receive IT professions that are in demand on the local market. 71 teachers, including 4 doctors of sciences and 18 candidates of sciences, teach at the university.

The IT Incubation Center is equipped with modern computer technology and high-speed Internet. It has rooms for programming, robotics, as well as chess and checkers classes.
