The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, together with the Marmara Group Foundation, held a roundtable discussion on the upcoming April 30 important political event in the life of Uzbekistan – a referendum on introducing amendments to the Constitution.

The event, along with the experts of the Marmara Group Foundation, was attended by representatives of scientific, academic, expert-analytical and business circles.

The participants were thoroughly acquainted with the goals and details of the upcoming political event – a nationwide referendum, the role and features of the renewed Constitution.

The main attention was drawn to the amendments relating to human rights and freedoms, the personal integrity of citizens and other innovations.

The participants of the roundtable discussion noted that the innovations proposed for a vote in the renewed Constitution will create a reliable legal guarantee for sustainable economic growth and free entrepreneurship.
