Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fozilov met with the Head of the ODIHR limited referendum observation mission, Ambassador Albert Jónsson.

The Deputy Minister congratulated Ambassador Albert Jónsson on the start of the OSCE/ODIHR mission to observe the referendum on the draft Constitutional law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan” to be held on April 30 this year.

Issues related to the participation of the ODIHR observer mission at all levels in the process of holding a constitutional referendum were discussed.

The readiness of the parties for open and constructive interaction in the process of preparing and holding a constitutional referendum was emphasized.
