As part of a project to study the impact of variable renewable energy sources on the energy system of the country, carried out jointly by the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Energy, the USAID’s “Power the Future” Regional Program, an event was organized with the participation of foreign experts.

Issues of automatic metering of electricity generation, the creation of a database and a system for forecasting the amount of solar and wind energy were discussed at the event.

The commissioning of new power plants using renewable energy sources will contribute to the sustainable functioning of the country’s energy system in the future.

The Ministry of Innovative Development initiates the involvement of interested ministries and agencies in the implementation of specific measures for the implementation of a forecasting system for renewable energy.

The analysis of the main results of the practice of introducing a system for forecasting the volume of renewable energy in foreign countries was carried out.
