The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between the head of the Department for Cooperation with European Countries and EU Institutions, Aybek Shakhavdinov, and the Ambassador of Switzerland, Konstantin Obolensky.

Issues of further developing relations between Uzbekistan and Switzerland in the political, trade-economic, investment, financial-technical, and cultural-humanitarian spheres were considered. Plans for the near future to ensure the activities of intergovernmental and interdepartmental mechanisms of bilateral cooperation, mutual visits, and other joint events were discussed.

Views were exchanged on issues of strengthening bilateral interaction within the framework of international organizations.
