Employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Dubai met with media representatives and active compatriots working in the United Arab Emirates to discuss issues of improving the tourism image of Uzbekistan and broad promotion of its culture and tourism potential.

At the meeting, prospects for attracting investments for implementing projects in various sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan, promoting large-scale reforms in tourism in Uzbekistan, and further increasing the flow of foreign tourists to the country were discussed. Issues of promoting the rich historical, cultural, and spiritual heritage of the Uzbek people were discussed.

At the meeting, Consul General Alisher Salomov informed the participants about the changes taking place in the socio-economic, political, and cultural life of Uzbekistan, the practical results of ongoing large-scale reforms, including in tourism, support for compatriots and members of their families abroad.

Following the meeting, the participants agreed to enhance mutually beneficial cooperation further and continue mutual dialogue in 2024.
