Uzbekistan Cycling Federation hosted a meeting to prepare for the 2022 Asian Games and Paris 2024 Olympics.

The meeting was attended by the Chairperson of Uzbekistan Cycling Federation Tanzila Norboyeva, Minister of Tourism and Sports Aziz Abdukhakimov.

Secretary General of the Federation Kozim Urinboykhujayev informed about the activities carried out as part of the preparation for the Asian Games and the Paris Olympics.

The suggestions of Gleb Groisman, the coach of the Russian national team, who worked in 2011-2020 as the coach of the professional team “Novo Nordisk” in the United States, were heard. He is invited to train Uzbekistan national team for the international championships.

The officials noted the need for creating an enabling environment for cyclists, eliminating existing problems and developing programs and projects that will motivate athletes. It was noted that when preparing for the competition, it is necessary to use international experience.

At the meeting, a Professional Cyclists’ Club was presented.
