The 6th Tashkent International Marathon will take place on April 21.

Its organizers are the Ministry of Sports of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee, Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the Tashkent Hokimiyat, the Athletics Federation, and other organizations.

At a meeting at the Athletics Federation of Uzbekistan, preparation issues, registration of participants, and coverage of competitions in the media were considered.

The marathon has World Athletics Label status. The program includes a classic distance of 42 km, a half marathon distance of 21 km, and 3 and 10 km. A Kids Run and a Nordic Walking competition are planned on the eve of the marathon. For the first time, in addition to the main rewards, there will be bonuses. The prize fund is 720 million UZS.
