Hokim of Namangan region Shavkat Abdurazzokov received a delegation led by a Professor of U1 University of the Republic of Korea Mr. Shin Seok-Ho.
The head of the region noted that the number of higher education institutions in Namangan had increased significantly, and the quality of education had also improved, in particular, in addition to the three operating state higher education institutions, seven more universities were opened last year, four of which operate in the non-state sector, and three universities opened in cooperation with South Korea, Russia and Kazakhstan.
The parties discussed the issues of opening another higher education institution in the region together with partners.
Hokim of the region noted that there is a need in the region for specialists in information technology, architecture, design, textiles, engineering, and jewelry. In turn, the Korean partners noted that they have experience in training, including in education and dentistry.
