The National Agency for Social Protection, under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, jointly with the GIZ project “Global Alliances for Social Protection – Uzbekistan”, organized an international roundtable discussion.

The event, attended by more than 60 people, aims to enhance amenities for the population by improving the social insurance system with the involvement of international experts.

The participants exchanged views on the international experience of implementing social insurance.

The introduction of a social insurance system in Uzbekistan will create additional guarantees for the population and increase the effectiveness and fairness of the social protection system.
