Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou held talks with the Acting Head – Deputy Director General of the Guangdong Imported Food Association (IFA) Wenxi Tang.

The parties discussed issues of establishing interaction and determining the prospects for bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

The sides agreed to hold a presentation on the export of Uzbekistan’s food industry products to China’s markets for large Chinese associations of importers and business circles in the provinces of Guangdong, Fujian and Hunan, as well as to conduct workshops for new exporters of Uzbekistan in such areas as entering the Chinese market, registration of contracts and enterprises, finding potential partners, conducting business talks with Chinese buyers and participating in the annual IFA exhibitions.
