ISRS hosted meetings with foreign journalists who arrived in Tashkent to attend the International Conference “Central and South Asia: Regional Connectivity. Challenges and Opportunities”.

The journalists received detailed information on socio-political, socio-economic reforms carried out in recent years in the country under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The main attention was paid to the friendly policy of Tashkent to strengthen good-neighborly relations with all countries of the region, the initiatives of the President of Uzbekistan in the Afghan direction, designed to actively involve Afghanistan in the regional integration process and turn this country into an integral part of the Central Asian region.
