ISRS and KazISS sign a Memorandum on the establishment of the Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan Expert Council
On August 8, during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan, a Memorandum on the establishment of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan Expert Council was signed between the Institute for Strategic and Regional Studies (ISRS) under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS) under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
ISRS Director Eldor Aripov and KazISS Director Yerkin Tukumov signed the document in the presence of the heads of the two states.
The Council is designed to regularize and substantively enhance the expert dialogue between the countries by involving specialized experts and specialists to discuss new ideas and develop proposals for further enhancing comprehensive collaboration between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
As part of this mechanism, particular attention will be paid to analyzing the state and disclosure of the two countries’ existing potential in trade, economic, industrial, technological, cultural, and humanitarian spheres.
