The head coach of the Uzbekistan boxing team, Tulqin Qilichev, reported that on January 27, Isroil Madrimov will hold a WBA title fight against British James Metcalf. However, the British boxer refused the fight due to the small fee. A battle with a new opponent has been agreed upon. He is the Russian boxer Magomed Kurbanov.
