World Taekwondo Cadet Championships is taking place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On the championships’ first day, Uzbekistan national team member Islambek Akchurin defeated Athanasio Tsitakis from Georgia, Darid Yosef from Poland, and Chen Wu from Chinese Taipei.

In the decisive final match, Islambek defeated Italian Francesco Cutrone with a score of 2:1 and became the world champion.
