The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Austria Abat Fayzullayev visited Navoi region and met with Deputy Hokim Kamoliddin Khasanov, heads of large economic entities of the region, manufacturers and domestic exporters.

At the meeting with entrepreneurs of the region, issues of attracting modern Austrian innovative technologies, soft credit lines of Austrian financial institutions for the implementation of economic projects, as well as promising directions for exporting domestic products to European markets were discussed.

As part of the diplomat’s trip to Navoi region, representatives of the Austrian investment company Parsalpine GmbH visited the region, who arrived in Uzbekistan to discuss promising investment projects in the chemical, agricultural and construction industries.

The parties discussed the implementation of a new investment project for the production of potassium nitrate together with JSC Navoiyazot.

The Austrian Parsalpine GmbH also expressed its readiness to implement an investment project for the extraction and deep processing of natural stones in the city of Gazgan, Navoi region.

Following the talks with Austrian partners, an agreement was reached on the implementation of new investment projects worth more than $10 million in 2022.
