In January-March 2022, 1.6 trillion UZS of investment in fixed assets was disbursed in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, an increase of 5.7% compared to the same period in 2021.

According to the State Statistics Committee, in the structure of these investments, foreign investments and loans amounted to 431.7 billion UZS, of which 74.8 billion UZS were foreign loans guaranteed by Uzbekistan, 356.9 billion UZS were foreign direct investments and loans.
