During the visit on May 14, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with representatives of Hope Missions, Cherokee Fab, Blauer Manufacturing companies, Alcorn and Mississippi State Universities.

Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiyev, Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Sardor Umrzokov, Mississippi Governor Phil Bryant and others noted that Uzbekistan and the United States have consistently developed fruitful cooperation in various areas.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of strengthening bilateral cooperation in investment and education.

Following the event, the parties agreed to develop new proposals on this issue, promote mutually interested initiatives.
