Jizzakh hosted a training workshop on introducing vaccine logistics management systems into the industry by UNICEF together with the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service of Uzbekistan.

It was attended by officials of IT-MED LLC of the Ministry of Health, the regional Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service, city and district departments of immunoprophylaxis, heads of vaccine warehouses and assistants of epidemiologists.

Information was provided on the rules for using the vaccine logistics management system, the number of all types of vaccines delivered to warehouses, their expiration dates, the exchange of information on the turnover of vaccines and the state of their stocks.

The participants were tested for knowledge of the use of this system.
