Another important meeting was held in Uzbekistan on the implementation of international best practices aimed at preventing all forms of violence against children and effectively protecting their rights.
Issues related to the development of the Barnahus model and its implementation in Uzbekistan were discussed at the event, held at the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The event was organized as part of implementing the Strategy for the Protection of Children from All Forms of Violence for 2026-2030 and was of a working and expert-analytical nature.

The conceptual approaches to the Barnahus model and international experience with its implementation, including practices in European countries adapted to national legal systems, were presented during the discussion.
The participants also analyzed the current system of responding to cases of violence against children.

It was noted that the current mechanism of interdepartmental cooperation, in some cases, leads to repeated traumatization of the child, deterioration of his psychological and emotional state, and a decrease in the quality of evidence.
Following the meeting, the participants reached a common conclusion on the feasibility of the phased implementation of the Barnahus model in Uzbekistan, taking into account national legal and institutional specifics.
