The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan is implementing artificial intelligence solutions based on ideas proposed during the AI Challenge hackathon (Gov Challenge: AI Connect).
Following the event, memoranda of cooperation were signed within the framework of the Global Move and Balcom Soft startups.
The initiative aims to accelerate the digitalization of the banking sector, automate internal processes, and improve customer service quality.
The first area of cooperation is the development and integration of the national Speech-to-Text (STT) model into the banking system. This innovative technology will significantly speed up application processing, increase call center efficiency, and automate internal document management.
The second area involves testing a virtual assistant based on RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology that can analyze regulations and large amounts of data to generate accurate answers. This approach allows employees to obtain the necessary information quickly.
All solutions will be implemented on the Central Bank’s internal servers. Data confidentiality and bank secrecy are guaranteed.
