The traditional Republican Intersectoral Industrial Fair is held annually in Tashkent.
This event plays a key role in strengthening cooperation across economic sectors, supporting local producers, and elevating industrial collaboration. Enterprises have the opportunity to showcase their products more widely and establish direct contact with new partners. Essential agreements are being signed within the framework of the fair to expand the production of import-substituting and competitive products, promote the efficient use of local raw materials, and implement large-scale investment and production projects.
More than 24,000 contracts totaling 5 trillion UZS were signed at regional industrial fairs via the Electronic Cooperation Portal. And even better results are expected at the republican fair, which will run until December 19. This year, representatives of nearly 5,000 enterprises and more than 70 owners of international brands are participating in the event. Excellent support is provided to citizens with disabilities. They present their products in a dedicated section; this time, they are showcasing more than 340 items.
The information center at each stand provides complete details on the cost, characteristics of imported goods, and the names of the raw materials used in production. There are also more than 100 ready-made investment projects for localizing imported goods.
All this contributes to the development of Uzbekistan’s industrial sector, job creation, deeper processing of raw materials, and the production of new products.
