The Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov attended the Internet Governance Forum in Saudi Arabia.

The Minister addressed the plenary session organized within the framework of the forum and took part in panel sessions and other discussions.

The Internet Governance Forum is a platform organized in 2006 at the initiative of the United Nations for dialogue between Internet users, governments, representatives of the private sector, civil society, and academia.

The participants discussed the issues of cooperation between governments on a global scale and the prevention of risks hindering modern international development. Views were exchanged with researchers and qualified specialists from different countries. It was noted that people’s way of life has changed dramatically thanks to technology and innovation, and these processes will accelerate.
